Let’s kick things off with this:

The Post Punk Kitchen. Let me just clear this up, I am many things, but I am not Vegan.  I’m not saying this to scoff at the idea, just to simply point out that many of my favorite recipes/dishes do happen to include a fair amount of cheese. I do tend to avoid milk and eggs, but that is simply because I made crème anglaise pretty much every day for a few months during a few of my classes at school ew.  That out of the way, PPK is a wonderful vegan cooking/baking website with an extremely wide variety of things to try. The site is very helpful with replacing ingredients for veganism or even allergies. I love to try using new ingredients in places I wouldn’t normally, and thanks to this website I have learned so much to supplement what I have learned in school. Now I can take classic recipes and make them healthier and modern!

Next time you’re looking for something interesting, check out the PPK! I have tried a number of those recipes on my friends, boyfriend, and meat-loving family, and they have been hits!

Didn’t have internet when I first moved into my apartment, then didn’t have any even when I was home (net gear boxes don’t prefer macs, as it happens) and then came to realize that culinary school is actually quite a demanding place. But hey, I’m back and hopefully will tickle your taste-bud fancy with my food posts to come. Have a lovely day!
